Thomas Enck, the long-standing Sector Head for Mechanical and Plant Engineering of the Commerzbank Corporate Banking division, has joined FTI-Andersch, the German consulting unit of FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) specializing in restructuring, business transformation and transactions. There, he will work with the Executive Board to further expand the consulting business in the mechanical and plant engineering sector.

Thomas Enck studied business administration at the University of Essen. He joined Commerzbank more than 25 years ago as a financing specialist in the corporate and SME business, where he has been responsible for working with mechanical and plant engineering companies in Germany for more than twelve years.

"Thomas Enck is a recognized expert in his industry, not only when it comes to financing," says Karsten Schulze, Member of the Board at FTI-Andersch. "Over many years, he has acquired a deep understanding of the operational business and the entrepreneurial challenges of the industrial sector. He is therefore an excellent reinforcement for our team, with whom we will further expand our expertise in mechanical and plant engineering."

It was only in September that automotive and industrial goods expert Heiko Rauscher joined FTI-Andersch as Senior Managing Director. He joined as a partner from management consultancy Oliver Wyman and has over 20 years of consulting experience.

"Our senior team is continuously growing from within, and we are adding accentuated impulses with top experts from outside," says Christian Säuberlich, Speaker of the Board of FTI-Andersch. "Our ambition is to consolidate and expand our position as one of the primary contacts for restructuring and business transformation in the manufacturing industry in Germany. To this end, we are very much looking forward to working with Thomas Enck."
